Welcome into my cypher. It's been a long time coming but I've finally made the move to Atlanta. I am full of wonder with this new chapter of my life. Open to life, love, and possibilities. I embrace all that it shall bring and I can't wait to network with all of you.

Her first solo book of poetry, Think It Write It Speak It Nothing But The Truth, was published in 2007. Using the success of her book as inspiration, Nykieria pushed forward and has since written and directed the following plays; Bend Don't Break, Behind The Rainbow, and Positively Infected. All of her plays offer an insight on controversial issues often experienced but seldom talked about. Many of her friends, family, and fans will tell you that she holds nothing back when approaching anything she's passionate about.

As a Spoken Word Artist, Open Mic Host, Playwright, Radio Show Host, Motivational Speaker and so much more, Nykieria continually proves herself as an indubitable word-smith.

CURRENT PROJECT
Frankie and Olivia are two sisters whose only resemblance is their bloodline. Torn apart because of their mother's homophobic views, the two are now attempting to reestablish their relationship. With her best friend Jayden by her side Frankie is on a mission to find a love of her own in a sea of women with issues. Where what you see is often not what you get, Olivia is struggling to hold together the perfect image everyone has built of her. Stereotypes are being broken and the walls are crashing down exposing the inconsistencies of a community that fights to be accepted for who they are but are just as quick to shun those that are different from them.

Nykieria Chaney is currently accepting booking requests for 2011. She is available for various occasions including but not limited to Open Mic Hosting, Poetry Slams, Weddings, Festivals, Community Ceremonies, Pride Celebrations, Radio Drops, and Corporate Events.
