Tyler Junior College-
   Associates - Business Administration
Coming from a senior class of 35, and a town without a single stoplight, I felt I needed to ease into the big university scene.  Looking back, the decision was certainly the right one for me for a few reasons. An abundance of scholarships allowed me to live on campus (I was an RA as well) and not worry about a real job which allowed me to focus on classes & being involved on campus and the community, which resulted in even more scholarships.  Also, because there were only Freshmen and Sophomores on campus, I was able to be in a leadership position in many organizations early-on, which I would not have been able to do at a 4 year school.  This allowed me to arrive at UNT with a wealth of knowledge and many valuable experiences.
