Is it strange that I actually looked up the do's and don'ts of first blog posts? We'll see if I do an okay job of following Mack's suggestions.
As you likely see at the top, my name is Nathan Chaney. It's actually Nathan Gonzalez Chaney, but that's a story for another post some other day. I was born in Weslaco, Texas and have been in Texas my whole life. I've lived in just about every corner of the state but haven't been able to get away. Most anything else you want to know can be found throughout this website, which is why it exists in the first place! Which leads me into why I'm blogging.
I setup this site, and blog, to give potential customers, business partners, investors and the like a place to go to learn more about me on a professional and personal level. Facebook doesn't cover the professional side of things, and LinkedIn doesn't cover any of the fun stuff, so I decided a dedicated site that covers both would be best for conveying that I'm serious about business, but I'm serious about living life too! I believe in associating with people that are dynamic and well rounded and believe that if everyone had a nchaney.com style page, we would understand each other's skill sets and motivations, thereby allowing us to have more effective and efficient personal and professional relationships. That said, the topics you see here will range from logistics industry musings, to updates on my entrepreneurial quests, to posts about my extracurricular adventures.
Each blog post is open to be commented on and I more than welcome your feedback. There are several ways to contact me posted in the normal spots in this website, and I look forward to hearing from you. Whether you have a business idea that I can help you out with, or you like one of my ventures I'm working on and want to join in, or if you want to tell me to toughen up and knock out that full marathon I've been putting off - bring it on!
The DriBak- the best sweat-proof backpack system for cyclists that I've ever developed! I started the patent process and even got a big check to start up selling it. But the DriBak still sits on a shelf in my closet. At the very least, this blog will identify a few things NOT to do!
This is a site about Nathan Chaney, curated by the same. If for some reason you landed here by mistake, I'm sorry. If you're here on purpose, then welcome!
